There are only three kinds of rectangle found by mathmaticians which could make different size of squares.
SQUARES are accessory cases which were designed by these rectangle.
The surface was polished by piano finish with sheepskin, which is a unique technique of making traditional mirror stand in Tokushima prefecture, Japan.
Whole drawers of SQUARES are not open until the center drawer is open.
This is a traditional trick used for Japanese drawer.

Driven by the recent crisis of certain countries who got very uptight over issues of being asked to disarm their missile test launched, their alarming action to remain hostile and persistent in their belief had stirred me to create this part of a furniture combination to depict their behavioral trait, a bookshelf with their golden army, strategically placed underneath, to uphold and to protect their ultimate plans,frozen in time for all to see.

The shingle-technique is based on the theme curiosity.The various layers symbolise the rich variety of the Alps which can be explored. The narrow gaps enable a glimps into the inner space of the furniture which is vaguely perceptible behind its shingled facade. The caverns of the furniture surprise with a luminescent red color, which is inspired by the alpine glow.

The furniture ‚Ehrfurcht’ is inspired from the raw and unpredictable nature of the Alps. Archaic and heavy in its design, an inner hidden space is vaguely perceptible only through a crack, which draws through the hole object.
The ebony coating of its outer skin contrasts to its raw inner space, which is hand-carved from precious Swiss pine.

Stay at my home is the Bachelor thesis by the Swiss in Industrial design students Luzia Kälin und Nicole Lehner. They finished their studies at FHNW Gestaltung & Kunst, Aarau in summer 2008. The project was supported by Johannes Fuchs und Adrien Rovero.

In collaboration with Happy AG the mattress was developed. The carpet evolved with from the kind support of Ruckstuhl AG.

The book box has built in book stands which allows you to place different sized books randomly in the box without them falling over.

Twist is a modular storage system which can be used as a wall-mounted cubby, console table, stand-alone bookcase or any other configuration that fits you and your space. The design is a modern, conservative collection of cubes, with an understated twist that garners attention and curiosity upon closer inspection. The "twist" cube is rotated on three axes, perfectly intersecting the adjacent, inline cubes. Computer modeled and cut on a CNC router, the cube fits flawlessly, penetrating the straight cubes on both sides and making a strong joint at all points of intersection. It can be customized and manufactured quickly and easily, with materials, finishes and edge styles all directed by the customer. An aluminum stand or wall mounted Frenchcleats are available along with any number of additional boxes to complete the desired arrangement.

The original idea for "Fractal 23" came after a series of cubical study sketches in which I experimented utilizing front & back (positive & negative) spaces in a cube.

In other words, when I design the front of the cube depending on how I divide the the space inside, there were left over spaces that could only be reached from the back. I was really fascinated by this simple but essential discovery. then I realized that when I used fractal geometry, I had to open all four sides to complete the occupation.

Even though "Fractal 23" is graphically strong and in that sense "eye catching", it still has a strong concept behind it.

Whilst working on the Flauna pieces I began to see within the structures similarities to the simplified forms of musical instrument sound boxes. I became interested in the idea that I had produced a form that was already in existence – and also the idea that a three dimensional form is not something so much that we invent, but rather something that we arrive at. In the case of musical instruments, a sound box is merely our attempt to contain the phenomenon of sound, the ‘design’ is a guided process. I often feel that designing is a largely passive process – and that creativity is more an archaeology of ideas rather than pure ‘creational’ activity as we perceive it. The Octave family use actual marquetry details from musical instruments as well as a selection of different hardwoods from the structures. The units are built up slowly in thin 1mm layers to allow every twist in the branches to dictate the overall quality of the pieces. There are seven pieces in the series and were commissioned by Gallery Libby Sellers for the exhibition Grandmateria which was shown at the London Design Festival and  at Design Miami 2007.

A development of the Split and Tilt series as a large installation for Paul Smith London. They use a single piece of beech split into four to create the angles for each level.

Modern day consumer behaviour involves the inability to dispose of cardboard boxes 'in case' an electrical product fails. The Box Leg elements fit around the boxes using a simple string tourniquette, the leg attachments propose to convert this contemporary neurosis into a piece of luxury furniture.

Higher Market Studio specialise in re-inventing tired pieces of furniture. Each piece is transformed with the clever use of laser cut laminate. The contrast of the coloured laminate with the wood accentuates the form and highlights the unusual features that are sometimes lost.
Each object is unique.
