Domsai is a tamagotchi for your desk. It is produced with craftsmanship in Nove, in the neighbourhood
of Bassano del Grappa (VI). Each Domsai has its own personality, each cactus has its own dome,
tailor made and blowed, that differentiates it from the others.

Berlin-based Mashallah Design & Linda Kostowski have created items of clothing by scanning human bodies and using the data to create sewing patterns.
Three people are portrayed digitally by scanning their bodies. The output of this scan is a 3d file, which resolution is defiend by the amount of polygons, similiar to pixels in a bitmap grafic. Linked with their biographical memories a digital twin of the body is thus created, which expands and personifies the garment in a formal-poetic way. The 3d data is turned into 2d sewing patterns by the use of the unfolding function which is a common tool in industrial design process to make paper models with, the single fabric pieces and the inner interface which defines the edges are cut out by the help of a lasercutter. Making a clothes pattern in this way changes the aestethics of the garment fundamentally , because in contrary to ordinary patternconstruction methods unfolding does not matter about orientations like center front or the shape of a armhole, which frees the designers imagination in a way that feels fresh and liberate.
As fabric we used sweatshirt jersey as a reference to the common clichee that berlin is the city which fashionable output lies in making and painting on t-shirts.

The Viper-powered Dodge Tomahawk concept vehicle shatters all the barriers of conventional thinking about personal transportation. This four-wheel, single-passenger vehicle is a sleek, rolling sculpture that combines art-deco styling with extreme engineering.
"The Dodge brand philosophy always challenges us to grab life by the horns," said Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President - Design, Chrysler Group. "In the case of Tomahawk, grabbing and holding onto anything for dear life is a necessity. It's just that extreme and passionate; a glimpse into the soul and commitment of true enthusiasts."

Shade is a stretchy, 6x6 meters portable canopy that reshapes itself from within when the printed pattern is pushed from the inside. It unfolds out of a hand luggage bag and it could be installed anywhere to define a space and hide activities from the outside. The space inside radiates a white, comfortable and intimate atmosphere.

Nowadays, to save energy is one of the most pressing problem. This is already possible with the actual technology, such as low consumption led lights and solar panels; but actual products seem to be too far from people’s uses and overall they require not so much interaction to aware people about the problem.
Energy Bucket is an innovative product that comes from the habit of the past to collect potable water at the well using buckets. In fact, “Energy Bucket” requires to be exposed by the user under the solar light to recharge (thanks to the solar panels on top), so that it can be carried anywhere and illuminate once night (it works with 1KW led lights housed on the plastic bucket). A honest exchange between man and nature: I do something to have something back: clean light!

Ultimately this is a fantastic collaboration between the world’s largest producer of Solar Cells Sharp Solar; Artemide, a leading force in the field of lighting innovation for the past 40 years, Ross Lovegrove, a visionary translator of technology for the 21st Century; and the MAK in Vienna supported by the Angewante, the leading school of Architecture and Design in Vienna. The Solar Trees communicate more than light… they communicate the trust of placing beautifully made, complex natural forms outside for the benefit of all of society becoming a museum that if folded inside out, the museum as an incubator of change in society… and with this the promotion of environmental science and the joy of the new aesthetics made possible by the digital process.

The Wave Adaptive Modular Vessel (WAM-V) is a new boat made by Marine Advance Research that was unveiled at a press event in San Francisco.
The WAM-V is essentially a modular catamaran that can be configured in different ways depending on your needs of use. Two engine "pods" separated from the main hulls can be switched out as well, depending on your engine needs. It can hold inboard or outboard motors, propellers or jets, diesel or gas.
Its hulls conform to the surface shape of the water in constant adjustment to changing waves, thereby, riding high on the water instead of sinking into it. This makes it possible for you to pilot the boat into very shallow areas.
Marine Advance Research says on its site that the WAM-V can be built for a scuba diving platform, water ambulance, pleasure boat, luxury boat or station for holding oceanographic equipment.
WAM-V seems to be trendy thing to do this Winter (among crazy inventors that is).
